In Donkey Kong Country 3, the Queen Banana Bird is trapped behind a barrier bound by magical glyphs. While most seem to be generic shapes, K. Rool's crown is at the top of the radial (and on the sides), while the Kremling 'K' (seen on map screen flags) is at the bottom.

Moving from the left sprite to the right one, I got a revelation that good is usually not nice. It does not like straight lines, simple shapes, flat colors, neat gradients and anything parallel or perpendicular.

I wasn’t strict about how I used the letters, letting them just be starting shapes, not something I needed to feature. That’s why some letters are somewhat obscured and some are on their side or even upside-down. 6/7
