very clear where guys like anno, shinbo/shaft co, ikuhara, and such got some of their visual cues from.
All done blocking out the main shapes, and on to adding more detail!

I did the rest of the image the same way- blocking things in and rendering one section at a time until it’s done! Then I added some details like patterns and a gold trim around her pants just to give the image more texture and that’s it! /8
