Here we go~ I'll upload a video of my CG process later. I decided to go for all hard shading with no soft color gradation on this one. The personal challenge was to use hard color values to give the illusion of depth where there is none.

Quick Photoshop tip: If you want a more accurate conversion to greyscale (rather than just desaturating), try converting to 'Lab Color' and then copying the Lightness channel. Perceived values should be way better!
