Interesting piece in @guardian by Helen Gørrill which asks the question
Are female artists worth collecting? @tate https://t.co/XWHGVL6jiW. One of my favorite artists is Wilhelmina Barns-Graham. This painting is magical. Title: Glacier Crystal, Grindelwald & painted in 1950.

Wilhelmina Barns-Graham's glacier pictures have been popular from the outset and recent auction sales show this is still the case. Trust chairman Geoffrey Bertram reflects on the enduring appeal of the glacier series https://t.co/6GgDFb0DcJ #modernart #glacier #abstract
31 Days of Sneks and Snacks!
Day 26- Honduran Milk snake!
Wanna know why they’re called milk snakes? An old folktale was spun that these snakes would sneak into barns and drink milk from cows! Ain’t that udder-ly ridiculous?
Looking forward to the @jerwoodgallery #JerwoodCollection summer show 2018 'Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: Sea, Rock, Earth and Ice', exploring her depiction of landscape, including 'End of the Glacier, 1949' then travelling on to@MuseumSheffield later this year https://t.co/ga6dC6R9Rz
The next focus for #ArtUKFieldTrip is a gem of the #JerwoodCollection: ‘Winter Landscape 1952’ by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham.
This painting is heading on a trip of its own starting @jerwoodgallery, then travels to @museumssheffield later this year.
