@Bonpland @CursedDinosaurs That Deinonychus is less shrink wrapped as it is overly stocky. Dromaeosaurs and other Maniraptors were probably pretty skimpy without their feathers (if modern birds are anything to go by).
@JoschuaKnuppe I think that @LuisVRey's Deinonychus paintings have been very important on the outreach front. For kids growing up in the 90s/early 00s, these were probably the first images of feathered dinosaurs that they had seen due to their appearance in lots of popular books and magazines.
