After spending some time trying to figure out the ZBrush to Blender 2.8 workflow with displacement maps, I've found a really simple solution which works

I was playing around with applying an AO map to a per-polygon displacement on a dense model. Polygons were "exploded" outward based on how close they are to a cavity in the base mesh. (Its colors were vertex painted in 3D Coat, then rendered in Max/V-ray.)
Realised I never got round to printing the old Crash model so I had to give Cortex a shot too! These are the in-game models with the normal maps fed into a displacement modifier. Now to figure out a good way of printing them... 🤔 #CrashBandicoot #3DPrinting
