I'm skeptical about the new version, but it's interesting to look at the film. I would add more African patterns to the heroine - it looks more interesting

In my effort to confirm Pokemon roles, I asked Michael Haigney who voiced Neesha and her Blastoise in the 1st film. Claiming it was Amy Birnbaum and Haigney respectively, he said " I can say with about 80% certainty that you're right: Amy and I did those voices."

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (2021): That was really quite fantastic. Gorgeous film. Every character was at their best this movie, even Mari. I fucking hated the VERY last scene tho. Absolute peak fiction otherwise, worth watching for sure.

I saw Moonage Daydream today. It was one of the most extraordinary docos of any artist I’ve ever seen! I’ve come away knowing so much more about Bowie and overwhelming inspired as an artist. Thank you for bringing us this film. ❤️⚡️

So uh...why is Twitter comparing TASM and Homecoming now? They're entirely different types of film. The fact we have both of these films for the same character is honestly a testament to the versatility of the character and how unique these two visions can be.

Yeah that What If episode we got just made me wonder what IS going on with that film. That whole Universal controlling distribution of Hulk films thing and Disney/Marvel wanting to sneak around that really threw a wrench in Hulk's arc. At least I have my other green boi coming☺️

Been watching “Le Roman de Renard” which is a FANTASTIC film. So much effort was put into every single expression and detail, with the melancholic post-WWI influence making the film ever so much better. Also it was made in 18 months in 1929 so like, mad respect.

Inspired, by WHO FRAMED ROGER INSPIRED. Here's BB+ RAE, having a scenario spoof moment from the film.

Currently watching one of the best ghost stories put to film. Imho, of course. 😉✌🏻

Happy Share your favorite Batman books and tell us when you first became a fan!

I liked Batman w/ Batman 66, but I really became a fan with the 1989 Batman film. That's when I started buying Batman Comics - the first ones I got were for the Killing Joke.

Comparing different designs for Minas Tirith here is interesting - look at the first painting, evidently predating the movies, the second sketch, which seems to be a transitional piece, and then an image from the eventual film. A gradual decline in "stock fantasy"-ness

When I first started my EMRGNC project 4 years ago a figure emerging from liquid was supposed to be the final shot. But I didn't know how to rig, or pose, a character and I always skirted around it. Finally, this week, I was able to get the final shot in my short film.

"soderbergh's solaris isn't a remake of tarkovsky's film. tarkovsky's film is contextualized by and explores the self's deconstruction in larger systems: a geopolitical system, an alien mind. soderbergh's film puts the self in a black box: it is its own system, closed, alone, and
