Handsomeness practice at portrait night!
Tried out Ampersand Pastel Board as my surface. Kinda like it. Grippy, but not so textured that it dictates/limits detail.
So many options in oil painting, and they all behave differently. Fun experiments each time!

You'd often see models with vertex coloring to further add detail, or add shading to untextured polygons to save on texture space. Hmmm... Vertex coloring seems to be super rare nowadays, though...

Update: First pass of texturing complete! Textured in and using the Iray for a nicer render. Really proud with how it's turning out. Might just need some small tweaks or details to the texture to finish and take it to marmoset.
