Celebrating #EmpathyDay by reading a book from one of our favorite series. I am Human: A Book of Empathy celebrates uniqueness, making mistakes, learning from them and kindness. @susanverde @peterhreynolds #kidlit #SEL - look for their newest title out in September! @abramskids

World #EmpathyDay <3 I benefit a lot from empathy towards animals. I think we should all empathize more with them and I couldn't feel more thankful to my dogs for what they taught me.
Just some of the many books we publish where children can identify with book characters & their feelings which helps expand their real life empathy skills. Happy #ReadforEmpathy day 11 June!

I really do believe children's books can change the world. They can help kids understand their experiences of the world, and other people’s experiences. And they can help them make a better world together. #EmpathyDay

Celebrate love, empathy, diversity and family.
But don't forget there are monsters and villains at the wheel and we have to fight them EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
Igrene's personal history is rather sad and can be empathized with anyone, and yet she's never patronized for her losses. She continues her life as the desert guardian before eventually leaving without trace or resolution. I'd say I'm fond of Igrene and think she deserves better
