When the Sky Falls by Never thought I’d fall in love with an angry child and a Silverback Gorilla but I did. The book taught me much about animal/human bonds & how children can hide pain in anger til love finds the right key.

Happy Empathy Day! When children read & identify with the feelings of book characters, the more children understand how people work & understand worlds outside of their own. More empathy = happier children & a better world.

It is so important that our stories don't just reach the children who can relate to the lived experiences of characters, but to all children, enabling them to empathise with peers from all walks of life
