It’s interesting how style naturally develops. My cartoonish/simplistic style vs my more rendered/semi-realistic style. I can recognize some of my influences and how they have naturally impacted the way I draw.

Tip for would-be 2D The 8-way walk-cycle is key. Why? Because it looks truly unnatural for a character to stand, bolt upright, facing 90 degrees from the camera. Have characters default to a stand angled toward the camera.
