Cortor, Untitled, 1970.

Artists Eldzier Cortor and Gus Nall were other Chicago based artists that were greatly influential to Motley. Cortor was known for his nude paintings of Black women. He wanted to show the strength that a Black woman possesses.

Art took a bit of a sideline while I was MLing for helping out with the traditional off-season event – but I did do some design work to help try and motivate our crew of motley writers!
