some retopology ive done in the past few weeks! getting better at quad/poly retopo is exciting 🔆
My holiday break has started.. Might be a good time to finish UVing and texturing this and trying out the retopo tools in 3D Coat. I intent to achieve basic proficiency in the full workflow as an adjunct to my concept skills, if only to make sure what I give modelers is ideal.
I feel like this hair would actually kill me when I get to the retopo phase. hair sculpt kinda done? I'm not happy with the transition into the side-bang things. and the back view fills me with sadness but that's just how it is I guess

Got the retopo for the face done!!! Does anyone know if I should go ahead and join the tongue/teeth to the head sculpt and retopo those in one piece or keep them separate? The ultimate goal is to texture, rig, and animate this!

Added a bunch of stuff, made highpoly props and added some Polypaint (not too clean on some areas, but it's just for the general idea 😅) I think I can safely say the highpoly is done! Onto retopology!
