one art tip that i learned from a friend from just looking at their art:

use blues of any hue that works for your style instead of white! so, eye whites? eye BLUES! shiny white teeth? shiny BLUE teeth!

its less jarring than the bright white but still makes the eyes stand out!

I had considered that, and that's how I initially planned for it to look, but the artist placed it there, and I honestly preferred it on the tail, rather than at the tip.

I already have a few characters with ornate tail tips, so it helps to add to the variety.
