Infact I'll bring the point home to you. In moe and some other anime styles, these people are considered looking like adults. One in the green is a school teacher in her 30's even.

Also to note: there is literally cartoons aimed at adults.

Here are some my favorites.
Stop pretending that shows like this don’t exist. Animation is a medium not a genre they aren’t limited to just the family market dammit. https://t.co/j1Ry6zKanu

For context, Fertility Day is a holiday I made up for Kiqki's homeworld that's a weird fusion between the pagan versions of Valentines Day and Easter.

Children grow plants from seed and improve soil quality while adults... act like fools.

I love that they're playing beach voley, they're already young adults.. the fact that Kunimi and Kindaichi left all the silly conflicts in the past, fulfilling that promise Kageyama made at the end 😭😭😭
I'm so HAPPY, thank you so much!!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Eri for my old plus sized MHA characters series! i don’t want to see any body shaming on here because there can be plus sized kids and they deserve just as much respect as plus sized adults. anyways, enjoy!

This is Jade (headband) and Aella. A couple of Samoans that were born into slavery but liberated the planet when they were both powerful adults. Eventually they found their way to Earth and made a home there with the other Z Fighters.

Sharon's a living planet, compressed into a size even smaller than most adults. She still has a significant gravitational pull. Her entire ecosystem is plains, so she's covered in grass which she mowed to look more human. She also grew trees, but there's no fauna.

This is a 3000 year old who looks 6 and a 15 year old who looks 15, next to characters who look aged up as almost any ship fanartists do.
Drawing porn of the first two is fucking disgusting as they're obviously kids.
The third I don't give a fuck about bc they look like adults.

MINOR LORE (get it.. horfhorf)

It's minogame tradition to award young turtles with their shells once they've demonstrated that they're competent and mature adults. Kon took a little longer to get his shell..

He kept skipping class so he could listen to music.

Destructive nymphs born and grown underground. For years, they stay underground, living on plant roots and other burrowing creatures. In the cooler months, sufficiently large nymphs will emerge from their burrows and pupate into adults.

ANIMATION IS FOR EVERYONE.

Redoing something as live action or photo realistic doesn't make a story more mature, edgy or "meant for adults." In most cases it only loses a large part of itself in switching mediums.

ANIMATION IS FOR EVERYONE and if you think otherwise, watch something like anomalisa or bojack horseman, and tell me they’re “childish” or “not geared for adults.” i dare you.

animation is a *medium* not a *genre*. it is meant to be loved by all
