Corinne Finchley, the protagonist of my fan project I’m working on, is a black woman for this reason. But I’m caucasian and know that I’m not the best person to tell her story 😐
We need more diversity in Who, and we need it done well!

Today gr 5s were surprised when exploring the data on the lack of diversity in children's books. We investigated why representation matters. We each listened to books with diverse characters and used to share our reflections/responses. So many Aha moments!

Thank you! I’ve had the Vatori for awhile and decided “let’s just make Nora one too.” Here are two other old Vatori characters! Basically the queens go offworld to breed with other societies to increase genetic diversity, so the offspring can look like practically anything.

I concern myself with visual diversity/technicality A LOT, possibly too much for my own good bc my desire to be "better" is making me unable to even really "begin" my projects bc I need to learn more.

Right now I'm like... does my story/artstyle really need to be more than this?

This is one of the weirdest counterfactual talking points from angry ideologues like yourself.
You can't be into comics without liking diversity and "inspiring women."
X-Men, Teen Titans, JLA, Legion of Super-Heroes...have you even LOOKED at a mainstream comic?
