Translating concept art to 3D was an extremely enjoyable experience. I learned how to develop many variants of a concept, using only the few that worked best. I had many ideas I wanted to do and this helped!
Here's the thing I was mentioning yesterday. Tried to go for the Ken Sugimori shading style.
It's no perfect imitation, but it's close nuff, and was a good learning experience.
My next thing is in the works already and it's totally different stuff from the usual, so stay tuned.
@Btaeuber Painting quick portraits in oil all this month, two hours per session. My wife Helen is also a painter. Awesome learning experience. Both tiring and rewarding. Great sitters.

Since I'm doing a mini charm order, I thought I'd add some others to it. I'm not SUPER happy with the Ray but it was a learning experience. It's Yumihiko Ichiyanagi/Sebastian Debeste and Tateyuki Shigaraki/Raymond Shields from Ace Investigations 2!
As explained before, most of the 3rd party fighters who appeared on the previous Fighter Pass have experienced crossovers. If they're planning to bring another 3rd party into Smash, then that character must have a crossover experience.

classic 3D Mario games on modern hardware and on the go, it has issues yes, but minor ones that don't overall destroy the whole experience. Like, don't you understand the concept of freedom of will or smth?

I had a lot of fun drawing this today. I've always thought Apollo and Monique would look good together, but I've never drawn them like this before, so it was a pleasant experience. They grow red and blue roses for each other in my town. ^v^
