The Bayou Teche Landscape. Like some of my paintings, they start, they stall, they start again. This is a good example. I did the underpainting months and months ago and thought it was finished...but turns out it needed 2 days more work and a lot more color. Now it's done!

Made progress on the acrylic background + the gouache underpainting last night, + I’ll be back at the WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disneyland tonight 5pm-10pm to paint the enamel line work. It’s muddled + loose until I do the fine line detailing to pull it all together.

Continuing with the impressionism: Monet's Soleil Levant. Watercolor focussed on color and loose brush strokes. Underpainting was for sunset seascape, so it was a good repurposing.
