I repainted a veryyyy old piece of mine to test out some painting techniques…..I’m trying but I’m not there yet! Does anyone have any tips on painting greyscale to color? Lemme know!

Here's the colored version. Painting in greyscale is excellent for establishing values, but the real definition doesn't come through until the colors are added. 👍

Here's some of my files. If the line art is greyscale or the book has loads of effects, I work in RGB color space. Bitmapped, simpler stuff like Mal's I tend to color in CMYK. I obviously like to keep things basic AF but let me know if you have any questions! ;)
