The Kem Kem was also home to many crocodilians like the here depicted Laganosuchus. Although arthropods aren't often preserved, a fossil larva of an indeterminate Odonata dragonfly has been described, which I chose to depict on a stem.

According to the fossil record the Kem Kem flora included a wide variety of angiosperms. Although tree ferns and smaller ferns were also present. At the water's surface there were Marsilea and an unnamed member of the Nelumbonaceae.
