Gamera vs. Guiron and Gamera vs. Jiger are fairly similar films in tone and content, but most fans (myself included) rank the latter far lower. I’m not fully sure why. It’s a tighter movie, as far as characters and location. Stakes and goals are focused. But other than that…?

In honor of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's 60th birthday, I will be posting a thread of his concept art for the live action Attack on Titan films! Starting with his concepts for Eren and Mikasa.

I watched the Showgirls documentary You Don’t Nomi, and the most interesting part for me is when they show the clip of Nomi Projectile vomiting, alongside clips from about 6 other Paul Verhoeven films where women throw up.

It made me reflect on my own recent creative output.

Watched Spider-Man No Way Home and damn it made me go back and watch the original films. Seeing Tobey and Garfield again made me realize I really love those films! Happy they’re canon now in the multiverse!

I watch every episode at least two times. And agreed, but it was cool to see all of those K2SOs and I felt like that entire sequence was a bit of an homage to the Terminator films (the first two specifically).
