Photography freed art from pursuing realism as its goal. This would lead to the rise of modern & contemporary art where authenticity & expression are critical. Bisharin Warrior (1872), Pollice Verso (1872), Turkish Bath (1872) & the Grey Cardinal (1873)

Hi
I'm a fine art photographer with a background in botany 🍂🌾 I create emotional stories mostly using self-portraits and the raw poetry of nature.

I'm a photographer/digital artist that likes doing abstracts and trying to put my own spin on reality. Other than that I just like making cool looking things. Artists follow me so that I can have more art moots!

In 1948, Yaroslava Muzyka was arrested in Crimea. The accusation sounded absurd: while living in Gurzuf in the house of artists, she painted and photographed landscapes. A 55-year-old woman was sentenced to 25 years in the Gulag.
