the bubble was initially supposed to be some sort of platform over an alien sea, surrounded by floating bodies. we kept the sea and turned the structure into a bubble.

i changed the sketch twice while i was already doing lineart bc the first design for the mouth wasnt that interesting to me which was initially supposed to be opening from his neck not the ruffles, then i opened up the side of the ruffle mouth for a better silhouette
