"I want the head of John the Baptist on a silver platter!"

"Wait, what?!"

"... Forget I said that."

“Sally and Johnny” This one didn’t stand a chance on Instagram. I was inspired by the tradition of rad-as-hell paintings of Salome with the head of John the Baptist; my version is more about those paintings than it is about the actual Biblical story.

1667 June 15: Exact date is disputed. A Parisian physician Jean-Baptiste Denis (1640?-1704, sometimes spelled “Denys”), performed first documented blood transfusion involving a human on either June 15 or 28. https://t.co/aEbDF0SSY8

He died in 1519, aged 67. In his will he left much of his estate to Melzi & to Salai. These two men had supported & loved him in life. Leda (nd), Nude (nd) & Salai as John the Baptist. The latter is a surprisingly erotic image for an old master!

Patchwork Bliss, the second youngest of the family.
From a doctor, to a baptist, he helps expose and cleanse sin for those in the Doors of Elysium.
Though, he exposes that sin a little sadisticly.

Interesting side story. Howard Finster was a Baptist minister and self-taught folk artist. He won Rolling Stone's Album Cover of the Year for the Little Creatures cover art. Right on. He also did this cover for R. E.M.'s Reckoning album

Ilustrei cartaz de um filme para cinema, traduzi sentimentos destrutivos em forma de chuva e desenhei a depressão literalmente com uma lanterna.
