My Giovanni vamp in all of his glory. He runs the operations for the Family in his area, and cozies up with the local Camarilla (who owe him major $$$). Embraced in 1921, fighting his way up the Family ranks. Necromancer and heavy hitter.💪

Tonight, from 1921, directed by F.W. Muranu, it's THE HAUNTED CASTLE!
Scandals and murder threats rock an upper-class party in a really spooky castle!
One of Murnau's earliest surviving films, though his eighth picture overall.
28 September 935. Wenceslaus I, the duke of Bohemia since 921, was assassinated. His younger brother, Boleslaus the Cruel, was complicit in the murder. Wenceslaus is now the patron saint of the Czech state and the subject of the well-known Christmas Carol Good King Wenceslas.

I've always enjoyed driving across Healdsburg's Memorial Bridge. Built in 1921, the bridge was recently retrofitted and restored in 2015. No doubt there will be celebrations next year on its 100th anniversary.

Don't get too scared now! This 'frightful lizard', the Daspletosaurus, was a Canadian 9m theropod from the Late Cretaceous. You can probably guess our boi was a meat eater 😳 Discovered in 1921, but not named until 50 years later in 1970! 🇨🇦

@richseld @urbaninsideout @ngadc Yes, indeed! Rustic Eakins dippers versus the urban river rats shown by Bellows. (That Splinter Island drawing title once concluded "Wharf Rats,") And of course Rockwell revisited in 1921, not for the last time
