Apparently, for Camp Cretaceous, Spielberg didn't want to make it a "kiddy version" of Jurassic Park. So far, it does the movies justice. Danger lurks at every turn, yet showcase the fascination and wonders of dinosaurs. I can't wait for another season.

After watching Camp Cretaceous, I knew I had to make a fanart of this! The bioluminescence effect is hard to achieve through simple vector illustration, but I did my best lol. I just love parasaurolophus so much!

@PlayAmberCoL @KurasiuPL Thanks! The game takes place in North America during the Late Cretaceous, so no Sarcosuchus. Buut... How about Deinosuchus?
For this #xatw the Psittacosaurus is a member of the cerotopsians, the same group that the Triceratops is in. They lived during the early to mid Cretaceous, right before the Triceratops came about in the late Cretaceous. It’s hard to believe this little guy was an ancestor of the

Today we'll look at one of my favorites, the Parasaurolophus! A herbivorous euornithopod from the Late Cretaceous, first found in Canada all the way back in 1922!
According to the London Natural History Museum, there is only one land dinosaur who’s name begins with the letter ‘Q’, the Quaesitosaurus! A sauropod from the Late Cretaceous, name meaning ‘extraordinary lizard’ 🦕

15. For #25DaysOfTyrannosaurs, let’s introduce #Dilong, the emperor dragon. Discovered in China, Dilong was a small #tyrannosaur that lived during the early Cretaceous, and shook the foundations of theropod and tyrannosaur study with its preserved feathers. Art by Alex Lovegrove
And finally we have a nice little Peperomia caperata 'Rosso'. It is part of the family Piperaceae, along with peppers (Piper), which is estimated to have originated during the mid to Late Cretaceous, with the crown groups for both Peperomia and Piper being Cretaceous in origin!
Exciting to hear that BBC/Apple will produce a natural history series showing the life of dinosaurs and other animals during the Cretaceous, 66 mya.

I decided to #SundayFishSketch a #Xiphactinus, originally discovered in the 1850s here in Kansas. This giant marine predator is from the Cretaceous, and we have a beautiful fossil here at the @KUBiodiversity Institute. #sciart #watercolor #paleoart
Last of the Mesozoic stickers representing the Cretaceous, the pterosaur Tupandactylus Imperator. Sporting a large crest of soft tissue the fossils for this amazing flying animal are found in the Crato Formation of Brazil. #paleoart #pterosaur #dinosaur #tupandactylus
Suchomimus was a gigantic predatory dinosaur from the Middle Cretaceous, which grew to 11 metres in length!
