day 9: orange

Here's Kali, one of Murieall's human friends and she's simply adorable. She's loves frogs, dresses, adventure and looking out for faeries. Kali is partially deaf so she and her brother Kofi teach Murieall sign language.

This is my first OC Akino. He’s...somethin. He likes to garden and hates faeries. Outgoing and doesn’t know when to bite his tongue. He doesn’t know boundaries, and can come off as really creepy, but he always means well. He and his partner Castel raise abandoned children. 🙂💜

love the look of those goblin-like faeries...

Here's 4 of my Bottled Faeries. I've been really into painting bottles lately, I don't know why. What other creatures should I bottle up?

And finally we have my other OC bc I had 2 empty spots left & gave one to Haruto lolol She is my take on Titania, Queen of the Faeries. I went the most out of my comfort zone for her as someone that relies on lineart but I had fun! (yes I already posted this piece before but shh)

A pair of sketches of some midsummer faeries. A Satyr stealing an acorn from a Dryad.

Second times a charm! Titania, Queen of the Floof
... Faeries. I mean faeries. Or I guess its Moths. Moth Mom. Thanks for working with me on this ! You're the bomb!
The first in probably a series of waifus

In Romanian mythology, the iele are feminine mythical creatures often described as faeries. They are said to live in the sky, in forests or in caves, and reported to have been seen bathing at crossroads. From this point of view, the Iele are similar to Hecate.

A gift for a friend on Instagram. This is her OC Freya, princess of the faeries. 🍃🌺🍃

Faeries would sneak into houses to steal away children & replace them with changelings who looked exactly the same. Their strange behaviour would indicate something was wrong, presumably the human children danced with the faeries...#FolkloreThursday

Heyo day again!

I'm Beth and I'm fairly new to the world of freelancing. My goal is to be able to create concept art for game development. In the meantime, I'm working on an rpg style game with faeries.

Day 4: Fairy Tales/Myths

Inspired by Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of Faeries. Also an excuse to draw Felix in frilly clothes

Be nice to faeries.

Tam Lin, Scottish tale of bravery by a lady who encounters a mysterious man in a forest. She finds herself pregnant with his child, and learns he is captive to the faeries. She manages to find and rescues him, angering the Faerie Queen.

Drawing flowers is so hard for me I really wanted to challenge myself this month by incorporating them in with my faeries. Can you guess which bloom is my favourite? 🌹😂🌹

Lil sketches of Ursula. She's an optimistic and hardworking bugbear who wants humanity to leave her alone, so she can enjoy her carpentry work in peace (though she sells her work to fellow faeries.)

Oh my god FAERIES. I already think the people who design these monsters have top-tier taste, but I really do appreciate how monstrous these fairies are. As more fairies SHOULD be! I think Squot, the creepy mushroom cap bouncing a glowing bug, is my favorite.

🌿👶🌿In the Scottish Highlands, a newborn baby would be given sap from a green stick of Ash (held in a fire till the sap oozed out then mixed with honey) as its first food, to give the child strength and to protect it from being bewitched or stolen by Faeries.
