I was always highly influenced by Memphis designs, geometric work of the 90s and general aesthetics of arcades+bowling alleys. Also Roshan having a color block shirt stems from my desire to own one irl

Matidto's design was slowly refined with continued research; mostly pertaining to the motifs used on his rather than the structure itself. The main inspirations are the outfits worn for the Sagayan war dance, and the geometric patterns of Inaul (woven cloth of the Maguindanaon)++
