So I got back into working more on from I've been coloring her using polypaint in Onto the armor next! :) I threw a toony shader onto her, may try some more shading styles :)

Workin on Driftkick's model for portfolio. Started him in 2016 when I did a game art course. Had to retopo a lot of the old work since I did it before I knew how to model good. Now I'm polypainting his UV (maya won't unwrap UV's properly but what's new TuT;)

ClayBuildup is great for sculpting, but it can also be really great for polypainting! By selecting a darker colour than the base colour, setting the brush to drag rectangle and removing the alpha (optional?), you can apply some really nice colour variation and gradients.

Don't mind the terrible polypaint job. I love how i did her eyes. My macbook sounds like a jet engine about to take off, but i love sculpting too much to stop.

Before painting I would polypaint in Zbrush ahead to get idea and direction.

For the paneling I'd actually sketch some polypaint in zbrush, then clean it up in PS.
