Sketchbook Pro is what I use for years! It has very silky, flowy, and smooth brushes. It is only limited to it's photo editing. But overall I have an emotional attachment to this app!

Thanks to a post on reddit, I figured out the optimal way for img-2-img editing. Using Krita and a plugin, you can really just go nuts and generate those small changes you wanted. Example provided.

People have asked me to do fanart after I made decided to do it, using a base AI art I took 31 tries to generate, then I used my own digital art over it, then did some editing. It was a lot of work.
