ok i think i figured out the problem. i was rly focused on replicating both the color palette AND technique of higgins. but i fucking hate the technique and it was totally ruining the vibe, so instead of cell shading and soft brushing im going back to doing textured markmaking https://t.co/oXl3LBnLTn
