Dinocephalian skulls from the front are the most horrific things in existence.
While most leptoceratopsids were fairly small, Udanoceratops broke that mold. This animal reached an impressive 4 meters and likely approached 1500 pounds. #MarginocephaliaMonday #dinosaurs #paleontology

The recently described #Taytalura alcoberi is on the lineage leading to both rhynchocephalians and lizards/snakes. This beautifully preserved skull analyzed by CT helps show when traits unique to each evolved. https://t.co/NJNTpI5nH9 #SciNews #FossilFriday
Ophalia, or Opal, is an earth genasi druid, who grew up away from society. She left the safety of her cave when her father mysteriously disappeared.
She still has loads to learn about the world and the people in it

LET ME EXPLAIN these two are Nedirus (He) and Zohia (They) -- They're King Orgnum's personal augurs and meddle with a lot of dark and questionable magic. Nedirus can take the form of a therocephalian and Zohia can become a HUGE mantis https://t.co/nqazDjRP4J
New paleoart and new remake! This is portrait of therocephalian Nothogomphodon danilovi from middle Triassic of Orenburg region (Russia). I really like doing protomammal portraits. 😁

Here's a hot steamy Phalia to celebrate Valentines Day!
Waaaaaah?? Christmas?? What even IS that????
"Allegory of the Peace of Westphalia", Jacob Jordaens (1593 – 1678), Flemish
With logical taxonomy, these guys should be together under the same clade, such as "Ophidiocephalia" or something.
Instead of split them apart to "elder dragons", or lumping them with far more stem-mammal like fanged wyverns, just because they are quadrupeds and have no wings.
commission done!
