A new spinosaurid dinosaur. "Iberospinus natarioi" From the cretaceous of Portugal.

The amount of skeletal parts recovered is not astounding, but is not bad at all for spinosaurid standards! Thanks to @skeletaldrawing for allowing us to use his skeletal reconstruction (which was actually partially based on the material of this animal).
Jokes aside btw, I'm not a palaeontologist or any kind of genuine authority over spinosaurids. 😂 I'm just some nerd who's obsessed as shit with drawing them and wants to let others know how cool these animals were too. 'Cause everybody needs more crocoducks in their life. 🐉🌊💖
JAKSJKA toco hilo aqq
My first work of this year! This is lateral reconstruction of spinosaurid Riparovenator milnerae from the Early Cretaceous of Isle of Wight. It was described in same paper as Ceratosuchops inferodios. Based on @DanPalaeon1's skeletal reconstruction.

Can't get enough of drawing spinosaurids in front view. They look so goofy and loveable. 🥺💖
@_PaleoGeek_ oh thank you! t.rex is indeed cool, but spinosaurids are rock asf too, i love your funky style and how you draw them. keep your art up

@BrianEngh_Art Fortunately never gotten much rude criticism on my art and my experience with the community's been mostly positive. But did get a dude complaining about this one claiming spinosaurids couldn't have had any feathers and that "they weren't ducks".
This isn’t your normal baryonyx! I based this design off this strange mural at some Jurassic World attraction I saw circulating on Twitter where they put a spinosaurus head on a baryonyx’s body. With them both being spinosaurids it kinda works well.
now they are proud fishers together

Last one for today!
Agnaktor is best clappy boi and also potentially inspired by a Spinosaurid based on its head shape and sail. However, its body posture and teeth arrangement more closely resemble a crocodilian (ex. gharial).
Also he's heckin cute

Thanks to @palaeoguy12, @Dave_Hone, @NeilJGostling, @valdosaurus, @jurassicabf, @ClarkinBoneBiol and others for description of Ceratosuchops inferodios & Riparovenator milnerae.

It's confirmed now - halszkaraptor is actually a juvenile spinosaurid https://t.co/T7lGsvrnUH
@AGamingBeaver I can do horror and monstrosities, that’s about it though. Those and Cryos/ albertos/ spinosaurids
Dino Fact!
Oxalaia (After Oxalá) is a spinosaurid from Late Cretaceous Brazil! Underneath each tooth, it had two replacement teeth ready to go if one ever fell out! It's a trait no other known theropod has, but it's actually common in sharks!
