If we take the greatest exponent of the 2 sides, in a battle to the death, it would be Kal-L, who is technically the strongest living Kryptonian and on the part of Viltrum, we have not Mark, not his father Nolan, but thraggwho was raised to rule Viltrum and trained to kill ⬇️

I thought I was going to see thragg tonight, but there was no thragg at all 😔😔 here's me, singing to my man thragg so I can summon him

This comic truly is amazing. You feel anger because of what mark did, helping dinosaur, but in the other hand, dinosaur was the one who saved mark from thragg. I CAN'T WITH THIS

My first three supervillain OCs.

Thragg really out here fighting for his legacy

Ooo.
What if Mark had never left Earth? Both in issue and post-Robot-takeover.
If Mark never went in the damn reboot cave?
If Thragg never discovered the Graysons were heirs of Argall?
If Conquest survived the Viltrumite War?
If Mark had lead the Guardians onwards? ⬇️

These are the four I finished (Monster Girl, Chainsaw, Allen, Thragg). Miiiight do more later. https://t.co/Ms3bklmuxZ

Yes this is probably one of Battle Beast's best moments, but can we talk about Thragg's expression in the background-

2 39

Thragg's moustache is just the most expressive thing.

In a book with a lot of cool deaths.. probably the coolEST-looking death.

That final shot of his disintegrating skull is so chilling, and it also kind of reminds me of when Thragg used to talk to Argall's skull. In a way, he met the same end: k*lled by a usurper to the old ways.

I said something similar yesterday, but I love how Mark tries to protect his villains, while also not letting it impact him too heavily when things happen to them outside his control.

Thragg is the big exception, as he should be, and it's cool how Mark develops from trying to ++

The dialogue in this panel really feeds my "Thragg manipulates Mark because he knows he's the heir" AU.

1 16

Does that mean that Thragg would be an Incineroar?

More of Thragg and Nolan swapping roles:
Also I have no clue what those manacles are made of but it must be gnarly to hold a Viltrumite.

This is what I mean when I say that Thragg embodies Viltrumite culture itself. Mark k*lling him is emblematic of him k*lling the last remnants of the old ways.

It was so weird seeing Mark and Thragg on the same side, talking to each other and being cordial.
Mark has this face that says, "Please don't hurt anyone, me included. PLEASE."
