Some card art i painted up a few years back for 4Ground LLC. Each was done in 8 hours or less due to time constraints ... and it shows in some, lol. But hey 38 pieces in 45 days, yeeehaw! Taught me a hell of alot.

In the end, Auguste had a total of 3 different face sprites, and Auguste had two. I would have loved to add more and made them a bit more dynamic, but the time constraints for the project didn't really allow that.

And here is a look at how I set up the bones for the head and hair. The tilt is controlled by a single bone (purple) and the other bones simply follow its commands (transform constraints). Green bones can also be moved or rotated. Same for yellow bones (used for the hair).

I tried recreating one of 's pieces in 3D because I love the colour palettes. This one was pretty complex, there's a lot of backface culling, custom toon shaders and rotational constraints to achieve the final look but I think it turned out well
