In general for I base their heads on Malian figurines & Dogon Masks. I don't pretend 2b an expert on the ancient cultural customs, but in some situ8ions I intentionally incorpor8 meaningful motifs such as the Kanaga funeral mask 4 the ancestral Warforged.
