Akitoshi Yokoyama's career became fascinatingly weird. Technically superlative action expert & protegee of brilliant minds now directing random latenight anime that don't necessarily benefit from any of that
Does he hold back? Here's his extra depiction of a vampire's first meal
Stoked to share my first (of many) video game role! You can hear me as Edwin, a gentlemanly but jaded werewolf, in the thrilling #SpooktoberVNJam entry Wolfskin's Curse! Many thanks to @tamafries and @SandraMJdev for casting+directing me, and big kudos to the whole team! https://t.co/nGLIagaCWC

Rest in peace, Eiichi Yamamoto, who worked closely on the original Space Battleship Yamato, directing, writing scripts, and designing the iconic Japanese logo!
His strongest individualist mark on the world of anime is likely Belladonna of Sadness. He also directed Astro Boy!
Not breaking any new ground here but yeah, the original show is an absolute masterpiece- writing, world building, characters, animation... the high level of directing and framing of shot and precise pacing of scenes. I'm blown away, should have watched it long time ago.
Our art director @skeletonhouse did character design, concepts, and is generally responsible for all the colourfulness and aesthetic of the game. Anything visual I worked on was just following their lead! They also brought Sam et al to life by sprite directing all the dialogue.
presented style proposals and BG testings (BGs not mine) for our group's film, didn't art directing can be this tiring :']]
ppl are opting for the 2nd tho lol
