I'd say cellulite can be drawn with simple lines for linework with no shading if you strategically group the lines in pockets in areas where cellulite would have the heaviest contrast and only in moderation.
Tho, I also worry I might go overboard trying to render it for my work.

Yeeeeaaaah... I am not a cartograph. The left is more ot less the old one. I only have physical versions of the old MAP. I changed some positioning. Added rough climate areas and mountains (the dark brown). And do not ask what that cluster of islands is.
