Drew a piece of amber!

This one was really challenging, the value changes within the amber were really subtle and difficult to capture

smooth gradients are really hard to get right

I strive for everything to be as lifelike as possible. Natural poses, realistic textures, subtle details... everything!

I've found that, in order to keep the integrity of the base flat color, using a saturation layer like color dodge with dark tones works well. It's subtle, but the skin stays warm and realistic here.

Piplup, Floette, and Volcanion

Just thought Piplup would look real nice with a blossom pink.
Floette is a subtle change, but made to be more pastel-like in colour.
Volcanion, I wanted to base off a mix between vaporwave (get it cos its a kettle) and some tropical ocean.
