My fave thing abt the TF2 art/model style is the fact that it embraces imperfection and asymmetry. It's rare when you get a front view of the mercs in the comics, and even when you do, it isn't a perfect front on view! Same with the models, even when head on, there's imbalances!

Cartoon: Decided to try to 'Pixar' myself. I need to look at more character designs but just keepin the symmetry tool on helps a lot. My eyes aren't very Pixar. Too squinty ;) But wide open doesn't look like me at all :D

I worked as a video editor for 4 years, but have a hobby and passion in the art world, especially in 3D, I am very obsessed with symmetry and bloom, on average the artworks I create are more surreal, scifi, fantasy, but still have message and meaning, I use cinema4D and Octane ⬇️

Well - there's no PBR, the polycount still produces angular and exaggerated geometry, and a lot of textures, especially for the characters, are handpainted

It's a rather particular look, so I'd call it "stylized" for sure
