In case anyone cares, no I haven’t forgotten about #sheith and I’m actually working on probably one of my most ambitious ideas yet. Ambitious mostly because it involves me trying things I’ve never tried before like space and planets, different outlines, new brushes. I’m excited!

- resolution is very small, fancy characters = noisy
- outlines and chibi help, but then it looks like every other pixel game
- people really preferred the realistic proportions in polls
still, the characters can be complex and expressive in animation!

Saw a twitter post for pixel art saying to start small and work up. So I did. Very minimal style with a monochromatic color scheme. :)
P.S. Yes even those "black" outlines are just very dark shades of green/red.
