Sometimes feels like society is so character-focused that the narrative in landscape art gets overlooked... BUT if anything the biggest missed opportunity in illustration may actually be the 'humble' still life. I haven't any recent examples , but if you do, share them!

im a sucker for possession plot lines and wanted to use one for my oc lore but it really doesnt work with the narrative or power system </3 so i drew jacob being possessed by the main villain in the story to get it out of my system
