- Day 13: Dune
The depicted fish, white-spotted pufferfish or Torquigener albomaculosus is known for it's amazing circular "nests" in the sand. It suits for my asian-themed inktober because it's "a brother" of well-known Japanese Fugu fish.

Nice to meet you.
I always see a wonderful job.

Previously, when I drew a birthday illustration for Nests, I heard that he and you are "brothers" and drew this time.
Thank you for your wonderful work while you have no rest.
Please take care of yourself.

This week in Stillingfleet's 1755 Norfolk "Wind high; Rooks sport and dash about as in play, and repair their nests". Chestnut leaves grow yellow as Birch trees turn to gold. Marsh Elder grows pink in the shortening days.

Today we present Chipping Sparrows, a Catbird, & their nests from 'Nests & Eggs of Birds of the United States' by Thomas G. Gentry, published in 1882. This tome includes chromolithographs of around 50 paintings of birds, eggs, and nests by Edwin Sheppard. https://t.co/c2Py0PLwhl

Welp ‘s not over so here’s one more before the month ends; the pixie is the smallest of the wyvern family. They build communal nests which harbor a fungus that causes confusion and hallucinations when eaten. The spores collect as “pixie dust” on their fluffy bodies.

Personal work about my swallowtail bird sona, a bit of criticism about that people who is always destroying their nests, totally illegal and such a shitty action.
I'm sure nobody would like to have their house destroyed, don't do the same.

The internet informs me I first posted this little piece 8 years ago today! Inspired by Edward Lear's delightful limerick...

There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, "It is just as I feared!—
Two Owls and a Hen, four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard.
