Something i had to do for school. The goal was to take this illustration and turn it into pixel art by shrinking it and limiting the color palette using Photoshop. I dont have PS so i traced it and picked the colors myself :T

i didn’t even have a tablet when i first did this. i used my window as a lightbox and traced my drawing over and over before taking a pic with my phone and bringing the linework into photoshop where i finished it with my touchpad. can’t be too hard on myself haha

Eventually, I would learn of the ways of digital art, and started doing traced line art of various subjects - btw John Boyega noticed the piece I did on Insta, just gonna brag HEHE - and this would make me learn to appreciate the finest, smallest details in your subject
