The main focus of the story is subtle racism within the family but it’s also about dishonesty & betrayal, topics I feel many can relate to. I hope that many can learn to recognise toxic behaviours and also set boundaries & have uncomfortable conversations.

I’ve come around to loving the red trunks, so I kept them and extended them a bit so they look more like hot pants than underwear. Ditched the belt in favor of something more subtle at the top of the trunks. Kept the new logo tho, cos I like how it flows.

I've been thinking a lot about Jacen Burrows' work on PROVIDENCE recently. It's some of the best storytelling I've ever seen - the subtlety of the framing to create unease, the *constant* interplay between foreground and background elements, and the fluidity of movement.
