I painted an abstract as thorny-petaled roses.
Later, I saw screaming faces, thus "Screaming at Roses".

'Even now, my old eye-bags
Have packed up their lies
And have gone off to live
On the old miller’s eyes,
Where they puff up like
Pastries and slowly turn sour,
And hang from his face like
Two sackfuls of flour.'

My favorite thing about fantasy is that feeling you get when you're standing there in some dark, forgotten place with a character, and you know you couldn't explain that beautifully lost feeling you're having to anyone that hadn't taken the same voyage.

Book cover! It's the first time I commissioned an artist. Rusembell did epic work on the characters and background. Next will be the book's interior art.
