The final forms remind me of Mega Man X bosses!

The more detailed style along with the metallic/glossy/energy materials on semi-humanoid animals is what does it, I think.

Not meant as a criticism at all, btw! Yours are more sleek and would fit much better in Pokemon than these:

These are some lumens made in Morgan Barrie’s Photo Processes class! A lumen is made by placing materials directly on darkroom enlarging paper and exposing to UV light. Believe it or not, these images are unedited and the prints really show these vibrant colors
