New early Cretaceous abelisaurid, Spectrovenator (ghost hunter). A neat little critter that fills in a crucial gap in abelisaurid evolution.
Bienvenue Spectrovenator ragei!

Rarissime! Tellement bien conservé qu'on a pu déterminer sa couleur: brun rougeâtre. Images Nat Geo
Here's what i done in today's #paleostream:

@glacier_clear basically any spinosaurid is my fav but mostly the spinosaurus uwu, not the jp one the nubby leg one with a paddle tail <3
Ugh, it's so gross when a fly goes into your ear, even worse if you have useless vestigial arms like #carnotaurus , a member of the Abelisauridae group of large theropods that occupied southern Gondwana during the late Cretaceous (70 MYA). #paleoart #dinosaur
@MetTiinA Maybe some of the extinct animals of Spec? Like the Eocene spinosaurid (I guess that could be another type of dinosaur).
#Deinonychus antirrhopus

The votes have spoken.
Megalosaurus; the first non-avian dinosaur to be named and the animal that helped to coin Dinosauria. Overall it was your typical Megalosaurid; a long body, strong stout legs, and a large rectangular skull filled with large, knife-like teeth.

Sooo... I finished watercolor work! This is drinking Qianzhousaurus sinensis, long-faced tyrannosaurid, also known as "Pinocchio-Rex".
#MesozoicMonday Edmontosaurus regalis meaning ”lizard from Edmonton” is a species of comb-crested hadrosaurid (duck-billed) dinosaur. The first Edmontosaurus regalis fossils were discovered in 1916 by George F. Sternberg, in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation along the Red Deer River
Had a sudden need to draw my adorable rendition of a feathery Alphys.
Props to anyone who remembers my saurid scientist from Tumblr.

81. Here’s an interestingly unique theropod for #TheSummerOfTheropods & #FossilFriday. Introducing #Halszkaraptor ("Halszka's thief”), a dromaeosaurid that lived during the Late Cretaceous Period of Mongolia. Art by Lukas Panzarin.
