When I think of the late Keiko Nobumoto’s writing, I think of her incredible gift for memorable imagery, she had a brilliant mind and really it was her screenplays that made some of the shows that elevated the storytelling of the medium as a whole. I hope I can be 1/178th as good

Final from a printmaking class I took in 2019. Etching & screenprint, 2/8 in a series (I made 4 of each color)

iirc the prompt was open & the only requirement was to use 2 of the 3 printmaking techniques we learned

Sometimes the humblest object can be the most compelling reason to create.

Whilst on an Access to & course in 2009 I wanted to make a and I knew just what the subject had to be: a red teapot given to me by an old friend.

The framing of the poster was inspired by Francis Bacon's Crucifixion 1933, a painting that I've referenced frequently in my art over the years. It acts as a recurring theme in the concept art that was made to accompany a Frankenstein screenplay I've been working on since 2015.

The sample of this pin is being shipped to me for review! The photo I got from the manu with the screenprint is in terrible lighting though, so no photos until I get it in hand 🙈😅

December 1, 1995: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace: A Medusa senator by Iain McCaig: “There was no screenplay; it was given to us verbally. The joke was always, if you couldn’t figure out a place for [your concept], it was a Senator on Coruscant.”

It was both fun and challenging to create a for the immortal classic “Freaks” using only one color on colored stock and not using any likenesses. Really enjoy capturing a film’s vibe and feel in my own way. https://t.co/z5AjUv3qyK

I don't actually have a funny comment for this one, I just thought a pop art style would be fun. Especially since I've done enough screenprinting to figure out how to emulate it.
