Dynamite Headdy (Genesis, 1994)

An EXCELLENT game in the mighty Genesis' library. With beautiful graphics that push the system to it's limit, jamming music that stays consistently good all the time, and gameplay that still holds up well today, this game gets a big fat 10/10.

Silk Worm

Another ace arcade conversion, Silk Worm is fast, frantic and packed with action. Lovely graphics, challenging gameplay & an awesome two-player co-op mode, put Silk Worm head and shoulders above most late 80s shoot em ups. Superb.

..maybe they are bad examples, coz the underlying gameplay there was excellent. But why choose Flight Simulator II, which will bore the pants off most gamers, where there is F/A-18 Interceptor, with faux-Top-Gun music, combat, and instant take-off into the action? Puzzling.
